Flexability.

Brighton’s Flexibility, have just released ‘Waves’ for free download. Like many of their tracks it showcases an indie sound that has a distinct pop sensibility about it, and offers a throwback to popular sounds coming from 90’s America. While today indie is taking many different directions, this sound has become noticeably unpopular of late, with strong riffs and vocals at the forefront of the track that many would argue place the track more easily in the pop/punk genre.

For a young band, however, it certainly sounds like they know what they’re doing, and definitely offers a fix for those who like to get nostalgic with music that takes them back to the days of Blink 182 (minus the annoying vocals). So even if the sound isn’t current, it certainly comes with its benefits, and the future looks bright for these youngsters.
