Along with the likes of Radiohead, Coldplay and The Strokes, Dave Grohl’s Foo Fighters are another stadium band to be releasing a new record in 2011. It’s been a four year break since Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace, with Grohl joining the likes of Josh Homme and John Paul Jones to create the beast that is Them Crooked Vultures during the break. According to the band it is the “heaviest” album yet, which will come as a contrast to the more melodic direction they took with Echoes.
